Sarah Thurlow
Sarah Thurlow was born in Bromley, Kent and joined the Royal College of Music in 1992. She held an RCM Exhibition and graduated with First Class Honours, winning a Constant and Kit Lambert Scholarship. Sarah continued at the RCM as a postgraduate, thanks to awards from the Countess of Munster Trust and the KPMG Martin Trust. The Mills Williams Junior Fellowship enabled her to study in Italy with Hans Deinzer, and in London with Andrew Marriner. She now works as a busy freelance orchestral clarinettist, performing with the London Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia, and Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.
