Teodora Mincu
Teodora Mincu comes from Iasi, Romania and started studying the piano at the age of four. As a result of a brilliant audition, she became the Mills Williams Foundation scholar at The Purcell School and is currently studying piano with William Fong and composition with Sylvia Lim.
Teodora has performed in renowned festivals and concerts including The Classical Spring Festival Filarmonica (Braşov), Alexander Scriabin Festival (London and Glasgow), Classical Music Festival (Glasgow), Talent Summer Music Festival (Brescia), and the George Enescu International Festival (Bucharest). More recently she played by invitation at the National College of Arts ‘George Enescu’ Iasi, Romania. Following that she won First Prize in the competition Grand Prize Virtuoso, where she was invited to play in Bonn, Germany in a concert celebrating Beethoven’s anniversary.
Teodora has participated in numerous masterclasses with renowned teachers including Ilya Kondratiev, Fali Pavri, Natalia Trull, Nikolai Lugansky, Petras Geniusas, Dmitri Alexeev, Reto Reichenbach, Eugene Alcalay and Andreas Henke.
