Teodora Mincu comes from Iasi, Romania and started studying the piano at the age of four. As a result of a brilliant audition, she became the Mills Williams Foundation scholar at The Purcell School and is currently studying piano with William Fong and composition with Sylvia Lim.

My mother, who is a soprano, used to be a director at a private music academy in Seoul so I naturally spent a lot of my time there as a child; watching her teach and perform, getting instrumental and theory lessons of my own, generally using the musical space there as my playground.
Born in 1992, Elena began her violin studies at age 7 with Professor Ara Vartanian, giving her first concert at the age of 8. Since she was 9 she has been part of different orchestras. In 2001 she joined the Orchestra of Young Soloists of Malaga offering with the same concerts as soloist of authors such as Vivaldi, Bach, Komarovsky and Accolay.
